On October 2007 A List Apart made history by releasing the results of their 2007 Survey of People Who Make Websites. I say history because prior to this there was no data available like this survey provided. With 37 questions answered by more then 33,000 participants they gave us the first set of data ever collected on the business of web design and development as practiced in the U.S. and worldwide.

This year they are again calling all designers, developers, information architects, project managers, writers, editors, marketers, and everyone else who makes websites to complete the survey for 2008. This year's survey corrects many of last year’s mistakes, with more detailed and numerous questions for freelance contractors and owners of (or partners in) small web businesses. There are also better international categories, and many other improvements recommended by those who took the survey last year.

So go ahead and contribute to this important survey and you will be notified once they release the results for the 2008 survey. I did and so should you!
