The TechHui Conference (http://www.techhui.com/events/2010-techhui-conference) is an annual event that highlights interesting Hawaii-based people, projects and organizations working in science and technology. The conference facilitates science and technology related conversation, education and collaboration. The event is organized and sponsored by a coalition of academic, non-profit and commercial entities including the University of Hawaii Pacific New Media College, Oceanit, Superb Internet, Pūkoʻa Scientific, HTDC, ThinkTech, Revolusun and Ikayzo.

This year is shaping up to be the most exciting to date with presentations from Google on HTML 5, Oceanit on nanotech, Avatar Reality on game design, and UH's Dr. Marcelo Kobayashi on evolutionary mechanical engineering. The Energy Technology super-panel will cover algae biofuel, solar technology and a new electric car sharing network coming to Hawaii. Subsequent panels will run on two tracks covering mobile development (iPhone and Android), rich internet applications (Flex, Silverlight and HTML 5), social media, inventors and dual use technology. The conference will end with a super-panel on 3D computer graphics for film and gaming. For more information visit http://TechHui.com
